NOVEMBER HOME LISTENING FAVES
in no particular order:

1. "ted" CLARK from the album Body Riddle
checked this artist out not very long ago, recommended by micromattic. inspiring and beautiful to sit and listen to electronica that is not the stale lounge or trip hop.
2. "white rabbit" GRACE SLICK & THE GREAT SOCIETY Collector's Item.
ace version of jefferson airplane's song. ace ace. ace like you want to take your clothes off and dance around the fire.
3. "hypnotize" NOTORIOUS B.I.G. from the album Life After Death
have been a listener of notorious b.i.g. for years now. i hate the whole pouting vibe, but he gets it out of me every time. it's a piece of good hip hop, when hip hop was still coming from soul, not from cans.
4. "smells like teen spirit" THE BAD PLUS from the album These Are The Vistas
abstract jazz version of the known nirvana song. heard this recently as the closing tune in a dj spinna house set. if you put it together with other jazz tunes it hits the bang.
5. "portuguese love" TEENA MARIE from her album Greatest Hits
have this one on repeat. its a disco soul hit in my body. say it to me say it to me say it to me..
alehop!
